Saturday,
August 25th, 2012 - We came to Old Bridge
Township Raceway Park today for the Saturday
portion of the 2012 Mopars @ Etown. Today
was for photo coverage only; I left the Dodge at home
to focus entirely on the event. I'll be bringing the Dodge
for tomorrow but for now, let's take a look at Saturday.

When
we got to the track, Mopars were in the lanes. I saw some
familiar cars from past events as well as some I'd never
seen before. |

If
you've been following The Dragtime News for any length of
time, you know one of the reasons I'm so hooked on bracket
racing is the family aspect of our sport. Few embody that
the way the racing Deveglio family from Long Island do.
They had the whole crew, including Joe Jr. (pictured here),
his dad (thanked on the trunk) and various brothers, cousins,
etc. I've been racing with Joe Sr. & Jr. for what seems
like forever. It was great to see them all at the track,
enjoying a great event and each other's company. |
