Welcome
to our photo coverage of the NHRA Toyota Summernationals.
held June 4th - 7th, 2015 at Old Bridge Township Raceway
Park in Englishtown, NJ. We'll be starting our visit with
Friday, June 5th. What a day! Even though it started out
wet, it quickly cleared and the action got underway with
only a minimal delay. There were lots and lots of Sportsman
racers on the property so as usual we focused most heavily
on them, although we also included the pros, too.
NHRA
provided us with access to the starting-line photo area
on Friday and as a result we got some great up-close shots
of the cars. On Saturday we concentrated more on the Sportsman
classes as much as possible. By the time Sunday rolled
around we had more than enough Sportsman coverage so we
shot a handful of Top Fuel and Funny before calling it
a weekend. We had a great time and had the pleasure of
meeting many drivers, both Professional and Sportsman.

jet funny car team. They'll close today's show after the
final pair of Top Fuel Dragsters go down the track. |
