Flowmaster had an impressive display of all of their products, including their Scavenger Series Elite long- and short-tube exhaust headers (shown above right), their cat-back exhaust systems, and this compact Outlaw Series Race Muffler.

Racers, you may have read my Bracket Racing 101 column ("Keep Quiet, For Track's Sake") where I stated that bracket cars that are too loud are not making it any easier for our sport to survive. This Outlaw Series muffler is compact and easy to install and will soften the sound of those open headers.

When attached directly to the collector, the Outlaw Series muffler will generally produce more power than open headers, while taking the “edge” off that open header sound. These race mufflers are designed to be used at race tracks requiring mufflers, but without dB restrictions.
