NJ - We
were on location at Old Bridge Township Raceway
Park in Englishtown, NJ for the 42 Annual
Night of Thrills. I was doing double duty behind
the wheel of the Dodge and behind the lens of the Nikon.
It's pretty cool that Raceway Park invites the top 8 racers
in points to compete before the huge crowd. The Night
of Thrills events are really popular with the fans so
being able to race in front of them is special for us
bracket racers who usually have no audience.
I
took the Dodge to the final round, won some money and
saw a fun show. The monster trucks are cool, but my favorites
are the jet funny cars and jet dragsters! Being around
them makes me feel like a kid again. Because I was busy
racing, I could only take photos when I wasn't on the
track myself. Therefore most of the photos are of the
jets or the monster trucks.
